Collections should be scheduled 1-2 days prior to your event to ensure cake freshness.

Before ordering, please ensure you have read the terms & conditions and understood the advice for cake care and transportation so that your cake makes it to your special occasion in perfect condition. 

Collection will be from my home in Kelvedon Hatch, Brentwood and you will be sent the collection information in full on the week of your celebration.

Please ensure that you are able to stick to the chosen collection time when placing your order as I cannot guarantee being able to accommodate changes.

Cakes are made of buttercream which will melt in any heat, so please ensure that you travel directly home/to your venue and that you have space to place the cake straight in the fridge. Even if you are collecting your cake shortly before your event please ensure that you pop it in the fridge just before presenting to firm the buttercream back up and keep it in perfect condition.

When transporting your cake in the car, please place the box either in the footwell of the passenger seat or in the boot. Please have the car as cool as possible with the aircon turned on when you arrive. I have non slip mats available to buy for £2 each if you would like one. Take care to drive very slowly around bends and over bumps. Always carry the box carefully upright by the base and never the sides as this may squash the cake.

Cake tastes best at room temperature, please take it out of the fridge 30 mins-1 hour before serving to ensure soft sponge and creamy buttercream.

Please contact me if you have any allergies or dietary requirements. I am happy to cater to these where possible by baking recipes which do not contain the physical ingredients requested, but I can never guarantee there are no traces due to these allergens being used and stored in my kitchen.
